1. Definitions
"Academy" refers to DNA Badminton Academy and its owners, staff, coaches, and representatives.
"Member" or "You" refers to any individual who has enrolled in a coaching program, booked a court, or registered on our platform.
"Services" includes all coaching programs, court rental, fitness training, video analysis, pro shop, and any other service provided by the Academy.
"Platform" refers to our website and online booking system.
2. Eligibility and Registration
Our services are open to individuals of all ages. Members below the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian provide consent and accept these Terms on their behalf.
To register, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information including your name, age, contact number, and emergency contact. You are responsible for keeping this information up to date.
The Academy reserves the right to refuse admission or revoke membership at its sole discretion, including but not limited to cases of misconduct, non-payment, or misrepresentation.
3. Coaching Programs and Membership
Coaching programs run in defined batch cycles. Enrollment in a batch constitutes a commitment for the full cycle. Mid-cycle withdrawals do not entitle the member to a pro-rated refund unless expressly agreed in writing.
Students are assessed at the end of each cycle. Progress to a higher program level is subject to coach evaluation and is not guaranteed solely on the basis of batch completion.
Batch timings, schedules, and program structures are subject to change at the Academy's discretion with reasonable prior notice to enrolled members.
Absence from sessions does not entitle a member to compensation, make-up sessions, or fee adjustment unless explicitly provided under the program's terms.
4. Court Booking
Court slots may be booked online through our Platform or in person at the Academy. Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of full payment.
Bookings are non-transferable to a third party without prior written consent from the Academy.
Members are expected to vacate the court promptly at the end of their booked slot. Failure to do so may result in a fee for the additional time occupied.
The Academy reserves the right to reschedule or cancel bookings in the event of facility maintenance, force majeure, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, an alternative slot or refund will be offered.
5. Payment and Cancellation Policy
Court Bookings: Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the booked slot are eligible for a full refund or credit. Cancellations within 24 hours of the slot will be charged the full booking amount. No-shows are non-refundable.
Program Fees: Program enrollment fees are due before the commencement of each batch cycle. Fees paid are generally non-refundable. Exceptions may be made at the Academy's discretion for documented medical emergencies.
Payment Methods: We accept UPI, NEFT/RTGS, credit/debit cards, and cash at the Academy. Online payments are processed through our payment gateway partner; the Academy is not responsible for delays caused by banking systems.
In the event of any billing discrepancy, please contact us at dnasportsacademy01@gmail.com within 7 days of the transaction.
6. Code of Conduct
Members must conduct themselves with respect and sportsmanship toward other players, coaches, and Academy staff at all times.
Appropriate sportswear and non-marking badminton shoes are mandatory on court. The Academy reserves the right to deny court access to members not in appropriate attire.
The use of abusive language, aggressive behaviour, or any form of harassment will result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of membership without refund.
Alcohol, tobacco, and illegal substances are strictly prohibited within the Academy premises.
Members are responsible for the safekeeping of their personal belongings. The Academy accepts no liability for loss or theft of personal items on its premises.
7. Health and Safety
Members are responsible for ensuring they are in adequate physical condition to participate in training or court activities. If you have a medical condition, injury, or are recovering from illness, please inform your coach and consult a medical professional before training.
The Academy is not liable for injuries sustained during training or court play, except in cases of gross negligence on the part of Academy staff.
In the event of a medical emergency on premises, Academy staff will provide first aid and, if necessary, arrange emergency medical assistance. By using our services, you consent to such emergency measures.
